Group Yoga Classes

These are the most common queries for people who are interested in our in-person classes and online classes conducted in groups.

Q 1

I am completely new to yoga. Do you have a separate batch for beginners?

 

We integrate new students, beginners and regulars in our existing batches. New students are advised to choose moderate classes for the first few weeks of their practice to slowly build on their knowledge, mobility and strength. Beginners are given modifications and adjustments for an easier experience till they can move to more challenging aspects of the practice

Do I have to bring my own Yoga Mat? Which mat to you reccomend?

For reasons of personal hygiene and preference, we strongly recommend you use your personal yoga mat. We have provision to store your yoga mat in the studio. Invest in a good quality mat that doesn't slip or chip away with usage. We recommend a mat made with eco-friendly material like TPE, soft rubber or cotton. Ensure that the mat is at least 5mm thick and dense. If you sweat a lot, then use a cotton mat/ towel on top of a yoga mat for better sweat absorption.

Q3

What is the minimum number of sessions I should practice weekly? I have a hectic and erratic schedule and I cannot make time to practice regularly?

Ideally one should practice 5-6 times a week for quick and long-lasting improvement in your over-all health. However keeping a regular practice of even1-2 times a week will show significant improvement in your health. Avoid taking long breaks from your practice and maintain your chosen frequency, whether that is once or 6 times a week. Even 1 session a week is better than not doing anything .

We provide various membership options from a single-class drop-in to long-term memberships for various weekly frequencies. If your schedule is erratic then choose the plan which offer lesser classes over a fixed duration so you can maximise the classes while you are available. 

Q4

I was unable to attend the classes during my membership validity, can my membership get extended/ can I get a refund?

The group yoga class fees is not refundable. This is an intangible service that was provided despite your absence. If you had an unavoidable situation like illness or family emergency due to which you could not attend your classes during your membership validity, we can add the classes not utilised to your next membership after reviewing the situation. Please speak to the management for the same.
